Mind you, I was going to say that I live on the West coast where we don't get much snow, but then I remembered, "Oh, yeah... Because we get torrential rain instead."
Suddenly a retractable roof didn't seem like such a good idea to me, either. :)

Would that really be practical in Canada, land of 6 months of winter?
